A federal record of decision is being entered in favor of another wind energy project.
The U.S. Department of the Interior made the announcement Tuesday regarding Revolution Wind, which is partially owned by Eversource.
The wind project was approved on the condition that its maximum output is 65 turbines, down from the original proposal of one-hundred.
Revolution Wind, which will be located southwest of Aquinnah, Martha's Vineyard, is aiming to start delivering electricity to Rhode Island and Connecticut in 2025.
