Crazy Game Six-Sets Up Dramatic Game 7 For B's And Panthers

The Florida Panthers staved off elimination and have forced a dramatic game seven in Boston after a crazy 7-5 win in Florida Friday night.

The Panthers led 2 to 1 at the end of the first period and 3-2 after two and that set up an absolutely crazy third frame.

Bruins Coach Jim Montgomery said it was one of those games that both teams were making amazing plays offensively.

A total of seven goals were scored in the third period.

The Bruins out shot Florida 34-33. They were also three for four on the power play.

Truly no lead was safe in this one.

Boston was actually ahead in the third period at 4-3 and 5-4 and then the Panthers scored three straight goals.

Game seven will be played in Boston on Sunday night at 6:30.

Boston has not named a goaltender for that game.

There has been speculation that Coach Jim Montgomery will make a goal tending switch to Jeremy Swayman, but nothing has been said yes about the game seven start.
