Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira of Dighton remains in custody for allegedly leaking classified documents on the Internet.
A judge is considering whether he should be granted bail while awaiting a trial.
Federal prosecutors in Worcester argued that Teixeira would flee if he was released.
They also revealed a high school suspension Teixeira received for making comments about weapons in 2018.
Teixeira worked as an IT specialist for the 102nd Intelligence Wing at Otis Air National Guard Base.
