Chatham Rolls Back Mask Mandate

Chatham is dropping its mask mandate.

Town health officials decided to change the mandate to an advisory with the number of daily new cases in the region continuing to fall.

The advisory encourages the use of N95 masks instead of cloth masks.

The mandate is still in effect in town buildings, but the Board of Health will review the decision at its February 14th meeting.

State guidelines continue to advise to wear a mask while indoors.
