National Guard Responds To APCC Records Request Into Machine Gun Range

The Massachusetts National Guard has responded to the news that the Association to Preserve Cape Cod has filed a public records request against Joint Base Cape Cod Brigaider Gen. Christopher Faux for threatening to boycott local businesses if they did not support the proposed machine gun range.

Col. Lisa Ahaesy says the General’s comments were not authorized and do not reflect the Guard’s commitment to supporting local business.

The Colonel went on to defend the Guard’s finding of the proposed range having no environmental impact.
