Well Known Cape Cod Restaurateur Passes Away

Well known Cape Cod philanthropist, entrepreneur and restaurateur Bill Zammer has died.

Zammer’s Cape Cod restaurants company owned the flying bridge in Falmouth, Clancy’s in Dennis Port and the Red Horse Farm in Falmouth, died on Friday.

Zammer was recognized with several community awards during his career and philanthropic endeavors, including the Joshua A. Nickerson Society award in 20212, Cape Cod’s Outstanding Philanthropists of the Year in 2005 along with his wife Linda Zammer.

Zammer also received the Falmouth Outstanding Citizen of the Year award in 2016. Zammer is survived by his wife Linda and family; no word at this time on service arrangements.
