Martha's Vineyard Airport Sees Sharp Decline In Passengers

The Martha’s Vineyard Airport saw a 69% decline in plane passengers in 2020, according to the Martha’s Vineyard Times.

In 2019, the airport had over 50-thousand passengers, in 2020 that number dipped to just under 16,000.

As a result of the drop in passenger revenue, the airport is cutting costs and trying to keep expenditures down; airport manager Geoff Freeman says the facility is doing pretty well for an airport of its size.
