A proposed BMX course in Sandwich is moving forward.
The Enterprise reports the Sandwich Board of Selectmen voted last week to express intent to issue a license agreement to Cape Cod BMX to build and operate the course.
It would go up on Quaker Meetinghouse Road near an existing town recreational complex.
The town anticipates the site will offer family-oriented BMX program training and competitive events.
Cape Cod BMX has been managing a track at Joint Base Cape Cod, but the base is reportedly exploring new uses for the property.
