The town of Nantucket has established a Covid Enforcement Task Force due to the surge in holiday related Covid-19 cases.
Town officials say the task force – which includes representatives of several town departments - will focus on enforcement and preventative measures.
They say it will respond to complaints, perform inspections, address gaps in messaging and outreach, receive tips from the community and serve as an auxiliary data collection point for enforcement and outreach efforts.
