Barnstable Schools Return To In-Person Learning Today

The Barnstable School District is returning to in-person learning today.

The school district switched to virtual learning as a coronavirus-prevention measure after Thanksgiving.

Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown says community spread of Covid-19 remains active in the town of Barnstable and the county, and that in order to keep schools safe and healthy, there will continue to be strict adherence to protocols.

Those include hand hygiene, mask-wearing, social-distancing and staying home if student or staff are sick.
