Massachusetts Highway Exit Signs Undergo Replacement

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is beginning to replace highway exit numbers. 

Eventually on the to-do list will be route 6 on Cape Cod. But state senator Julian Cyr tells the Boston Herald, regarding the new milepost-based exit number system, he thought it was a stupid idea before and he hasn't heard a good reason for the change to be made, except for the threat of federal funding being withheld.
