Golf Courses around the state are reopening.
In Chatham officials say you will need to reserve a tee-time through an on-line system at Chathamseasidelinks.com.
Social distancing required. No caddies.
Other courses have the same guidelines.
Also, golfers are smiling a little bit bigger this morning after the Governor announced yesterday that he would allow golf carts on courses that are open.
Some handicapped golfers and others who have difficulty walking a course lodged complaints and even threatened to go to court under the Americans With Disabilities Act to challenge that.
Officials say that if you use a cart you have to document that you actually need it. And, you still must abide by all social distancing guidelines.
