Cape Cod Climate Emergency Initiative has a lofty goal.
They are seeking to place a citizens petition on the warrant of every town meeting this spring seeking acknowledgement of a climate emergency.
The group says minimally they seek to reduce greenhouse gasses. But also they want action on flooding.
They say floods alone threaten 13 thousand homes worth more than 9 billion dollars.
The goal is to protect the natural resources of the cape as well.
