A mystery in Mashpee. Two birds and a fish were found dead this morning in the Mashpee Herring Run.
Officials say the two Great Blue Heron and a herring were found yesterday and no one knows why. Officials are asking Tribal Members not to eat Herring until they are able to insure safety.
This is a similar to a situation a few years ago.
Officials are working with state environmental police and Tribal Conservation to seek answers.
