The town of Bourne is making public the contents of a report focusing on safety at the new Buzzards Bay Park playground, where a young girl was injured last summer. The town temporarily closed the playground after the incident where the girl was injured on a slide and had to have a toe amputated. The Bourne Enterprise reports the board voted at a meeting this week to release a redacted version. Media outlets had previously sought the report but had the request declined by town officials who cited attorney-client privilege and work product.
