Wareham PD/Drug Bust

Wareham Police and Detectives, along with Bourne and Massachusetts State Police, following a joint investigation, executed a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at Apartment 52 at the Woods at Wareham complex.
As a result of the raid, 40 grams of fentanyl, multiple digital scales, nearly two thousand dollars in cash, along with various other items of drug paraphernalia, were seized and four men were taken into custody.
27 year old Isaiah Lopes and 62 year old Malcom Colson, both living in Apartment 52, were arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, subsequent offense.
26 year old Jules Tavares of Hathaway Street in Wareham was charged with trafficking in fentanyl and 21 year old Timothy Harper Jr. of Buzzards Bay, was placed in custody on a separate warrant.
All four men will appear in Wareham District Court today.
