2 Centerville Men Facing A&B, Weapons Charges

Two men from Centerville are facing a slew of charges including Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Barnstable Police responded Tuesday night to a report of an assault on Longview Drive in Centerville. Officers found a 29-year old Mashpee man with cuts and abrasions to his head and face. The victim said he had been beaten by two co-workers following a dispute at work the day before.

Following in investigation, Barnstable Police arrested 25-year old Daniel Barnicoat and 20-year old Nicholas Miller, both from Centerville. The two were also in possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol, reported stolen in Wareham several months ago.

 Barnicoat and Miller were charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition. Miller was also charged with receiving stolen property over $1,200 and several outstanding warrants. They were arraigned in Barnstable District Court.
