The first ever Mid-Cape PrideFest will take place Saturday, August 18, from 5pm to 8pm at Cape Cod Beer at 13-36 Phinney’s Lane in Hyannis.
The event, hosted by 106WCOD’s Stephanie Viva, will feature the all-female Queen tribute band Gunpowder Gelatine and, in anticipation of the fall release of the film Bohemian Rhapsody, there will be a Freddy Mercury dress-up contest for prizes from Cape Cod Beer and Seasouled (sea souled).
Tickets are $15 dollars in advance and $20 at the door and can be purchased on BrownPaperTickets.com. Proceeds benefit Cape Cod Pride, a non-profit that builds bridges of understanding, connection, and support among the LGBTQ community, its allies, and the community at large.
