Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway This Weekend

More than 2,000 cyclists will hit the roads of Cape Cod this weekend as part of the largest MS ride in New England. The 34th Annual Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway will raise money for multiple sclerosis research. Riders will embark on a 150-mile, two-day journey across the South Shore and the Cape as part of the event.

The ride begins in Quincy on Saturday morning and will travel down the South Shore. Riders will stop for the night at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay and then will travel from Bourne to Provincetown on Sunday.

The Bourne Bridge will be limited to one lane for drivers from 5-7 a.m. Sunday as bikers come onto Cape Cod.

Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway is one of nearly 80 rides across the country hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year, more than 80,000 people are expected to take part in Bike MS nationwide.
