Nauti-Block Leader Pleads Guilty to Murder

The leader of the Nauti-Block street gang, already sentenced to serve more than three decades in prison for drug trafficking convictions, will now spend the remainder of his life behind bars after pleading guilty to the murder of Christine Ferreira in September 2015.

According to the Cape and Islands' District Attorney Michael O'Keefe, Denzel Chisholm, 27, issued his plea of guilty as part of a deal to allow his sister to leave the court without being sentenced to any time in prison.

Shannelle Chisholm, 28, of Mashpee was originally charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy, and intimidating a witness. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy and will serve no time behind bars.
