Gasoline Prices Down Five Cents


Gasoline prices in Massachusetts dropped five cents this week according to AAA Northeast.

In its August 21 survey of prices in Massachusetts, AAA finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.24 per gallon. That is nine cents below the national average for regular unleaded but seventeen cents more than the in-state price at this time last year.

AAA found a range in price for regular unleaded of 31 cents, from a low of $2.13 to a high of $2.44.
