A man suffered serious injuries after being hit by a pickup truck Wednesday night in Centerville.
Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the accident at the intersection of Old Stage Road and Antico Lane and found the victim on the side of the road being attended to by nearby bystanders in the area.
The driver of the pickup truck was also at the scene. He was not injured.
The victim was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and then taken by medflight to the Boston Medical Center. His condition not known this morning.
Identities have not been released.
Barnstable Police are investigating the accident.
