Marstons Mills Resident Joins Airport Commission

BMA Chairman John T. Griffin Jr. presents Tim Luzietti with a plaque for his years of service

Marstons Mills resident Zachary Lesinski has officially joined the Airport Commission following his appointment by the Barnstable Town Council earlier this year.

Lesinski will replace Tim Luzietti who stepped down from the position on June 30, 2017.

An airline pilot and certified flight instructor, Lesinski began his career as an airport environmental planner for URS Corporation in Tampa, Florida. Lesinski is no stranger to the Hyannis airport having worked there as a “rampie” (aircraft ramp lineman) for Cape Air and also as a summer seasonal Operations Lineman prior to graduating from Barnstable High School. He has a 3-year term that will continue through June 30, 2020.

The 7-member Airport Commission is responsible for policy and financial oversight of the airport which is owned by the Town of Barnstable.
