Gas Prices Jump Five Cents From a Week Ago

There was a sizable jump at the pump this week as gasoline prices are up five cents from a week ago.

Triple-A Northeast found in its weekly survey that the price of self-serve, regular unleaded is averaging $2.24 per gallon. That price is fifteen cents below the national average of $2.39 but 24-cents more than the Massachusetts price at this time last year.

Triple-A found a range of 31 cents in the average price with a low of $2.13 to a high of $2.44.
