It's a miracle no one was killed or seriously injured.
That’s what police are saying following a high speed chase Monday morning that started on Route 28 in Cotuit and ended on the ramp from Route 44 West in Plymouth to Route 495 in Middleborough.
Barnstable Police Sgt Sean Sweeney says Cary Guy Jr of Dighton refused to stop for a Barnstable officer and took off. The chase involved police from Barnstable, Sandwich, Plymouth, Carver, Lakeville, Middleborough, as well as the Mass State Police – including a helicopter from the State Police Air Wing Unit.
Guy was arrested and charged with several motor vehicle violations including speeding, operating to endanger, and operating without a license.
He will be arraigned in Wareham District Court today.
