Vineyard Wind and GE Vernova have reached a settlement in a lawsuit regarding the offshore wind project south of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
Vineyard Wind sued GE Vernova because the turbine manufacturer tried to withdraw from the project, which would have jeopardized its completion.
The lawsuit centered on a dispute over withheld payments for defective turbine blades.
As part of the agreement, GE Vernova has withdrawn its notice of termination, but the full terms of the agreement are confidential.
