Tick Free MV will set up a temporary mobile deer processing facility in West Tisbury.
Four specialized trailers will be used in hopes of expanding the venison harvest to reduce the tick-borne disease risk.
Two trailers will be used for butchering and two will be cold storage thanks to 1-point-5-million-dollars in donations.
Tick Free MV says increasing the capacity to process deer will be an important part of controlling the deer population.
