The Massachusetts Shellfish Constable of the Year is Brewster's Ryan Burch.
The honor was bestowed upon him earlier this month by the state Shellfish Officer's Association.
Burch got high marks from his peers for helping to modernize aquaculture regulations by using input from residents and stakeholders.
He's also the owner of Supra Adventures Cape Cod, a paddle board business that offers tours.
