The Town of Bourne's DPW are getting ready to start infrastructure and road improvements on Barlows Landing Road and Shore Road today.
Crews are scheduled to work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday and there may be temporary traffic delays, noise, and uneven or settling trenches throughout the work zone.
There will also be the temporary closure of sidewalk ramps, and detours will be in place for pedestrians.
The town says turning areas at the intersection will be reduced during work hours while equipment is in the roadway.
