Burying Hill Study Results Expected This Week

The results of a year-long study of Burying Hill in Bourne will be presented to the local conservation commission by research scientist John Steinberg this week.

Ground-penetrating radar confirmed the site was once a burial ground for the Wampanoag Tribe and contains the remains of dozens.

A presentation on the findings is scheduled to take place on Thursday evening, beginning at 6:30 at the Bourne Veteran's Memorial Community Center.
