The Town of Chatham is thanking the Police Department employees who answer 911 calls during this National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.
Officials say dispatchers are some of the most valuable team members, taking emergency calls and communicating with police, fire, and medical personnel 24-hours a day, seven-days a week and 365-days a year.
The Police Department has posted a special thank you online to Dispatchers Erin Hemeon, Matt Casale, Dana Grim and Jessica Carran.
