The Chair of the Cape Cod Community College Board of Trustees has posted a message regarding a review of the school's former president.
Tammy Glivinski-Saben says the review found that John Cox was found to have been involved in inappropriate and unprofessional conduct.
Cox was put on paid administrative leave in October after someone came forward with a credible and serious report of conduct that may have violated school policy and he retired in March.
Glivinski-Saben says an investigation found that Cox did not violate the Policy on Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and Diversity but he did engage in inappropriate conduct toward the complainant.
Glivinski-Saben says to protect the privacy of the complainant and to honor the College's need to move forward - that is the extent of what will be shared regarding the investigation.
