State Representative Steve Xiarhos continues to spend time on the Cape to follow storm recovery efforts.
The Fifth Barnstable District lawmaker says progress is being made, but there's still a lot of work to do.
He says there has been some snow melt, roads are being cleared and crews are knocking down the high snowbanks to improve visibility and safety.
Xiarhos says the number one priority remains restoring full power so people can have heat and electricity and Eversource has hundreds of crews dealing with fallen trees and downed wires.
He says the good news is that things are improving.
