Governor Healey Checks In On Cape Cod Storm Recovery Efforts

Governor Maura Healey traveled to Cape Cod on Tuesday to check in on storm recovery efforts.

The governor was joined by State Senator Julian Cyr, to assess storm impacts and meet with those leading response and recovery efforts.

The governor stopped by the Red Cross warming center in Barnstable to thank volunteers and talk with families impacted by the storm.

Healey then went to Cape Cod Hospital to thank the doctors, nurses and staffers who have been caring for patients through the storm.

She says she is grateful for their dedication and the world-class care they provide every single day.

The governor is thanking local law enforcement, the Massachusetts National Guard and State Police for being out there through the worst of the storm.

She says while most people were staying warm inside, they were answering every call and keeping people safe.
