Suspect in Hyannis Shooting Being released on $100K Bail

The suspect of a Hyannis shooting is being released on a 100-thousand-dollar bail.

However, prosecutors have filed a motion to reconsider the man's bail and release, with a hearing set for January 30th.

In March 2025, Alex Greene was arraigned on one count of murder in connection with the shooting of Hyannis resident Tony D. Johnson.

Greene's bail was set at 100 thousand dollars with conditions that he wear a GPS and stay confined to his home unless for appointments with 24-hour notice.
