Wind Advisory For Cape And Islands Today

The next day is expected to be especially windy on Cape Cod.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Cape Cod and the islands beginning at two p.m. today and lasting until five a.m. tomorrow.

Winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour are expected during that period, with gusts over 50 miles per hour.

The weather service warns that the wind could cause some downed tree limbs and power outages, and could make driving difficult for high profile vehicles.
