A suspected robber will be answering charges following his arrest last night in Hyannis.
A middle-aged man was beaten and had his phone and watch taken by the suspect on North Street near Bassett Lane and he sought help inside the nearby CVS.
The attacker was spotted by the victim a block away when police arrived on the scene and officers nabbed the guy after a brief foot chase and recovered the stolen property.
The suspect was taken into custody on robbery charges and the victim refused medical treatment despite having some head injuries.
