Cape Cod and all of southern New England are under a Wind Advisory through 10:00 tonight.
The National Weather Service says westerly winds of 15 to 30-miles per hour are expected with gusts that could reach 55-miles -per hour.
The strongest wind gusts will happen during the daytime hours.
Officials say the high winds could down tree limbs and cause some power outages.
In addition, the windy conditions may make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
