Two people were extricated from a vehicle that crashed into a tree along Falmouth Road in Centerville Monday.
The accident happened across from the main fire station and crews rushed to the scene and used the Jaws of Life to rescue the occupants.
Weather hampered a MedFlight transport so the most seriously injured victim was taken by ambulance to the South Shore Hospital trauma center in Weymouth.
There is no word on the extent of the victims' injuries.
