Eversource Sells Parts Of Offshore Wind Project

Eversource is planning to sell its stake in an undeveloped offshore wind development site off the south coast of Massachusetts.

The utility has reportedly agreed to a 625-million-dollar all cash deal with Danish energy company Orsted for a 50-percent interest in 175-thousand acres 25 miles out to sea that are open for development.

Orsted just happens to own the other 50-percent.

The deal is expected to close by the end of September.
