DA Makes Renewed Call For Help In Rochester Case

Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois issued an updated statement regarding the discovery of remains of a newborn infant.

The body was found last Thursday at a regional recycling facility in the town of Rochester.

Galibois said while there is no threat to the general public, the investigation suggests the welfare of the mother may be at risk, and that identifying her as soon as possible is of paramount importance.

The D.A.'s office says the mother may live on, have ties to, or have recently traveled to Martha's Vineyard.

The D-A made a renewed call for the public to come forward with anything they may know about the case.
