The Massachusetts Air National Guard member accused of leaking secret military documents is due in court today.
Jack Teixeira will face a detention hearing in Boston federal court, where a judge will decide if he should be released on bail.
The 21-year-old Teixeira is accused of posting dozens of classified military documents to a private group on the social media site Discord.
He reportedly had security clearance as a cyber-administrator for an intelligence unit, which allowed him to access the sensitive documents.
Teixeira's stepfather and stepbrother worked at Joint Base Cape Cod.
He was a member of the 102 Intelligence Wing located at the Otis Air National Guard Base.
