A house went up in flames in Marstons Mills Sunday night; claiming the life of one person.
Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department crews responded to the blaze at a residence at 118 Lakeside Drive at around 8:00.
According to a fire department spokesman, the department was initially alerted to the fire by a passerby, who also attempted to alert any residents in the house and said she noticed heat coming from the windows of the home.
The State Fire Marshal, along with state and local police are investigating.
