United Cape Patriots staged a rally yesterday at the Bourne rotary where they were defending the proposed gun range at Joint Base Cape Cod.
The range is being opposed by, among others, the Association to Preserve Cape Cod.
Rally organizer Adam Lange says opposition groups keep changing their objections.
The Massachusetts National Guard says the range will not cause environmental damage and will allow members to train locally instead of traveling long distances.
