Two Arrested In Connection With Hyannis Drug Store Robbery

Two people were arrested for an alleged attempted armed robbery in Hyannis on Tuesday morning.Ā

A pharmacist at the CVS on North Street reportedly told police someone pulled into the drive-through, a possibly-fake gun was pointed and prescription medication was demanded.Ā

After the pharmacist shut the drive-through window, police say Nicholas Famigliette went inside and attempted to fill a prescription with a different employee.Ā

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Luke Matthews.Ā

Reports did not indicate any discovery of a real gun, but Famigliette was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, a spring-loaded knife.
