A young boy has died as a result of a car crash on the Upper Cape.
The victim has been identified as four-year-old Okémos Brown, a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
The crash involving a car and a flatbed truck reportedly happened on Route 151 in Yarmouth at approximately 9 a.m. Thursday. Police are investigating.
Brown was a preschool student at K.C. Coombs School in Mashpee.
The superintendent for the Mashpee School District says councilors will be available at all schools.
