Two Steamship Authority Employees Test Positive For Covid-19

The pandemic continues to take its toll on staff at the Steamship Authority.

With two more new staffers testing positive last week, the authority will be adjusting the schedule for its freight service on both the Nantucket and Martha ’s Vineyard routes.

The two most recent employees to test positive worked on the M/V Martha’s Vineyard and M/V Nantucket.

As a result of the staffing shortages, the authority says the M/V Katama and M/V Gay Head will be running on reduced schedules until further notice.
