In Truro, the Selectboard last night has opted to hire Robert Wood as the new town manager.
Wood is an interim City Manager in Texas.
He beat out the director of the Barnstable County Health and Enviorment Sean O'Brien for the post. The vote was unanimous. But for a lot of the debate the board was split on who to hire.
Now they have to come to terms on a contract.
