The number of Covid 19 cases in the state continues to grow. The Mass Department of Public Health says 260 people are dead in more than 13 thousand cases.
The breakdown: Barnstable County 383. Dukes 8. Nantucket 9. Plymouth County - 1,067.
Of the newest deaths reported a man in his 90’s in Barnstable County has died from the virus. Another man in his 80s has died.
At Cape Cod Hospital, officials say they have done everything they can to prepare for an expected surge in cases.
That surge is expected within the next couple of weeks.
