Friday at noon began the closing of all beach parking lots and parkways. It is no longer a local option.
The beaches are open for transitory use---that is for a walk not for congregation.
State Police will enforce in a lot of cases. Local police in others.
The Governor says that the action was needed because a lot of people were not abiding by social distancing standards -- so he needed to go to the next level.
